How does Faye By You work?
Creating your jewellery is easy!
- Choose your necklace, bracelet, earrings or bag charm.
- Browse our collection of charms.
- Drag and drop your favourite charms onto your jewellery.
- Rearrange them until your design is perfect.
- Add your finished creation to your basket and we'll handcraft it just for you.
Can I move my charms around?
Absolutely! Our jewellery builder lets you drag and drop your charms into different positions before ordering. Experiment with different layouts until you're completely happy with your design.
Can I add more charms later?
Yes! Your jewellery is designed to grow with you. You can come back anytime to add more charms and create a whole new look without replacing your jewellery.
Do I have to fill every space?
Not at all! Some customers prefer a simple, minimalist design with just a few meaningful charms, while others love a fuller look. There are no rules—create something that's uniquely yours.
Do all charms fit?
Yes! All Faye By You charms are designed to fit our compatible necklaces, bracelets, earrings and bag charms unless otherwise stated on the product page.
What do Delicate, Medium and Large mean?
Our charms are grouped into Delicate, Medium and Large to give you a guide to their overall proportions.
Each charm is handcrafted to reflect its selected size as closely as possible, although slight variations may occur.
Will my jewellery look exactly like the preview?
Your finished jewellery will look very close to the design shown in our builder.
Because every piece is handcrafted, slight variations in charm spacing and positioning may occur, making every piece uniquely yours.
How long does my order take?
Every Faye By You piece is handmade to order.
Please allow up to 5 working days for your jewellery to be made before dispatch.
During particularly busy periods, processing times may occasionally be a little longer.
Does Express Delivery make my order faster?
No.
Express delivery only speeds up shipping after your jewellery has been made.
Production times remain the same for all orders.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Please check your order carefully before completing your purchase.
We can accept changes or cancellations within 24 hours of placing your order.
After this time, your jewellery may already be in production.
Can I return my order?
As every piece is handmade to order, all sales are final.
We cannot accept returns or exchanges for:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect size, colour or style selected
- Personalised jewellery
What if my jewellery arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Email hello@fayebyyou.co.uk with:
- Your order number
- A clear photo of the issue
- A brief description
Please don't return any items before contacting us.
How should I care for my jewellery?
Our jewellery is designed for everyday wear, but a little care will help it stay looking its best.
We recommend avoiding contact with:
- Perfumes
- Body sprays
- Moisturisers
- Fake tan
- Sunscreen
- Household cleaning products
- Chlorine
- Hot tubs
Store your jewellery somewhere cool and dry when you're not wearing it.
Can I shower wearing my jewellery?
We recommend removing your jewellery before showering.
Regular exposure to soaps, shampoos and shower gels can affect the finish of gold-plated jewellery over time.
Can I swim wearing my jewellery?
We recommend removing your jewellery before swimming in pools, hot tubs or the sea.
Chlorine, salt water and chemicals may affect the finish of gold-plated jewellery.
Why has my jewellery changed colour?
Gold-plated jewellery naturally changes over time depending on how it's worn and cared for.
Perfumes, skincare products, fake tan, chlorine, cleaning products and even individual skin chemistry can all affect the finish.
Following our care advice will help keep your jewellery looking beautiful for longer.
Is your jewellery waterproof?
Our jewellery is designed for everyday wear, but because it is gold plated, we recommend removing it before showering, swimming or exposing it to harsh chemicals to help preserve its finish.
Is your jewellery handmade?
Yes!
Every Faye By You piece is handcrafted to order by our small team with care and attention to detail.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship worldwide.
International customers may be required to pay customs duties, VAT or import charges depending on their country's regulations.
What happens if my parcel is lost?
Once your order has been handed to the courier, delivery becomes their responsibility.
If your parcel is delayed or lost, please contact the courier directly using your tracking information.
I entered the wrong address
Please contact us as soon as possible.
If your order hasn't been dispatched, we'll do our best to update your address.
If a parcel is returned because an incorrect address was provided, store credit will be issued for the item value excluding the original shipping cost.

Your design isn't automatically saved, so we recommend adding it to your basket once you're happy with it. If you leave the page before checking out, you may need to recreate your design.
